New Year's Eve & Hogmanay

All over the world New Year's Eve, or Hogmanay, is celebrated at parties where people dance, eat, drink, and count down to a fireworks display and flurry of best wishes for the year to come.  For traditional celebrations, you'll also link arms with your friends and sing along to the skirl of the pipes as a piper marches through the crowd playing Auld Lang Syne.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And the days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll take a cup of kindness yet,
For the sake of auld lang syne.
